Plea of spiritual renewal

Father above

Renew my spirit
feed my waning soul
and regenerate my mind.
This body is weak and
faltering.
My spirit searches for
a detox from all that labors it.

New beginnings hang in the air,
opportunities, challenges and 
the path that you have directed.
Guide me O Father, allow
you ways and your love
to shine through.
Show me thy way.

Take my hand
so that I can not help
but to follow where you lead.
Extend you patience to this tired soul.
I have not allowed you to guide it as I should.
I now humble myself to your guidance
and your mercy. 

Take me as I am and mold me to
Your will.
